What is the most popular way to transport these 1/8 scale hydros to and from races?

Most people use the boot/trunk of their car. Those with smaller boots may need to put it across the rear seats though, and I have had to have big boats riding shotgun strapped into the passenger seat of a sports car with the roof down before.

    SUV, VAN, TRUCK, TRAILER.

You can build boat racks out of PVC pipe to fit any one of the above.

One way to safely transport you're boat is by using a trailer. Just make sure to use a nice trailer hitch.
