Default Is the V1 the newest version of TP motor?

Just received a water jacket for my V1 TP motor and it says to use the different o-rings that are supplied in the package for the V1 motors. I am guessing V1 is the newest version so how did they go from V2 to V1??

I'm no expert here, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say, the difference between the jackets is only the o ring size, and they come with the v2 o rings installed, and supply the v1 o ring for those that have the older motor. again, I'm no scientist, but thats my guess.

That is where I am confused, it looks like all the newest motors are V1?

This one makes my skin crawl and I don't know why it is this way, but V1 is the new motor and V2 is the old one.
