    Default Voracity discontinued?

One of our clubbies was going to purchase a Voracity but they told him Horizon Hobbies was discontinuing it and they wouldn't be able to get any more.
Does anyone know if this is in fact the case?
Maybe they will bring out a replacement for the Impulse?

Does anyone know if TFL is still producing Pursuits? There is very little stock that seem to be available, and only carbon ARTR versions.

I noticed it was discontinued about a week after I got mine.

I love it. Runs awesome on 6S.

I’m sure they are revamping there line up, especially the mono. PB just released a new hull to there lineup today, it’s a 25” tunnel hull called “Valvryn”. Tunnels are not really my preference, but I can’t wait to see and updated mono.

The Proboat Sonicwake 36" self righting mono seems to be the Voracity's current replacement in ABS. The fiberglass hull on the Veracity was causing too many headaches for Proboat so they discontinued it.

    Peter.
I noticed some time ago that the 'TFL Racing' site show all their boats as out of stock or unavailable.

I think there is some confusion, Tfl and ProBoat are not the same company.

I think 785boats was answering in relation to the question that Peter A asked, is the TFL Pursuit available.

That's true Steve. There are still some around.
But TFL themselves aren't stocking any of their boats anymore. And a lot of other sites that used to sell them don't have them anymore.
Are they still available to you as new stock?

    That's good to hear.
It just seems strange that they don't sell their own boats anymore.

    My bad.
Looks like they are not the parent company. Just an on seller.

In a conversation with Rafael quite some months ago, he said that the Sonicwake was actually not the replacement for the Voracity. Not sure if that's still the case as they *are* both 36in hulls & nothing else has yet materialised. I think issues on the production line ultimately did the Voracity in. But I too would definitely like a 36in+ glass mono from Proboat.

It is a shame that Hobbyking no longer stock the Pursuit, or Osprey, or... Getting boats shipped from the US is prohibitive cost wise. I found that DeltaForce was easy to deal with and no problems shipping to NZ and price was affordable. It would be nice if TFL hulls were more readily available down under.

BTW, our clubbie ended up buying the Sonicwake, I was sort of impressed with it for an ABS hull, especially as the first time I saw it, it had already been run over by a gasser and has prop damage to the back but didn't actually puncture the plastic. Not sure a glass hull would have survived so well. I have tried to get him to prop it up on 4s, but he insisted on running on 6s and it was very loose.
Unfortunately the guy does not listen to advice, just wastes a lot of money and gets an attitude if you try and be helpful. I watched him run a new 72" mono the other day. When he took the hatch off the first thing I saw was the engine sitting level and stuffing tube on an angle so the flex was bending coming out of the stuffing tube. I said that was not good, but... Didn't even make one lap and broke the flex. Some people have more money than sense!
