All my boats needed new antenna "holder uprights" if that's what you want to call them. Not willing to pay for them(3$ or so plus shipping cost, didn'tt need anything else to order at this time for free shipping)
But anyways sitting here (as usual on this forum) drinking my coffee (from local gas station) and looked at the round coffee stirrer and wondered. Fit's perfectly inside the antenna mounts, just cut to length and your golden. And the you can pick them up for free. Just don't have the tip on them.

are you talking about the tube the antenna goes into ? if so the coffee straw is abit large and week isn,t it .

A servo grommet makes a decent mount.

.25mm inside so it is what it is. It's just for emergency cases at races or what ever. It works, just ran the boats, NP's, yea a little weak but still reached out 300yrs or so

Mike W: Like I said the straws fit inside the grommet (Antenna mount) and would be good for emergencies. Most races have coffee and stirrers available.
