Default Wanted: Castle Hyda 240 ESC

Looking for a good used Hydra 240 (not the green cased ICE). The old one with dual wires on the battery and motor leads. See photo. Need a spare ASAP. Cash waiting for the right part!240.jpg

Why not a new Castle Edge 200 ? Pretty easy to convert them... and they are just as good, if not better. Updated fets/chipsets. I've personally did over 400amps on my cat and I heard of others have go even higher.

I have had great luck with the old 240s in the past. I just did 2 of the Mamba XLX conversions yesterday.

When you add water cooling, the Amp rating goes way up.

Same as a 240A Hydra. - Same ESC without water cooling used to be a Barracuda 125A

I have an ETTI 220HV Pro (from OSE) esc for sale. This would be a great sub for the 240 hydra. Let me know if you are interested.

    Thanks.

How much are you asking for it if the OP doesn't want it

I thought the ice 200a were considered to be the 240’s?

Sorry for thread hack. Do you have pics on how you’re converting to water cooled. I have one of these in an hpi 5b buggy on 8s and it rips! I’d love to put one on a 1527/1y.
