Yeah, it’s late and that’s when I sometimes get my mojo on with working on boats.
For some reason I wanted to look at the bec in my Q sport.
I read on it 8v-36v input.
I’ve been running a 4.8v Nimh pack to power it.
Go, figure now, four years later I now know why it was shutting down at the last Michigan Nats I was at.
What a brain fart. All the on and off plane was creating the heat most likely, not parasitic drag...
Guess I’ll slip in a 3s pack and try it out again.
Funny thing, it works fine at close range

I can go to bed now, late but satisfied I found an odd problem.
