    Default Hifei issue 4,11

Today we did some saw tests using a TPpower motor 4050 connected to a 300 lite esc.Everything worked great ( no running issues) but when we decided to open the Hifei 4.11 software there is no way to know the recorded data.
Esc connects to computer,we can open the device and go to the data recorded window, choose the correct number poles of motor(4) and click to download data that goes good (transfer runs ok) till we try to open the new window so we have a running error message and windows(10) close the whole program.
I really don't know the real problem so let me know what do you think.
    Thanks
    Gill

Try right-clicking on the program icon for the heifi software. There is a compatibility command in there. Try setting it to run on Windows 7 system. You may need to use XP SP2 as well. I had the same issue until I got the right operating system running on it. Choosing this then executes the program under selected system as if you had that operating system actually loaded. I hope that helps!

My newer model 300, runs 6.xx software but had the same issue. Right click on the program and run as administrator, that solved it for me.

I had a recent issue with a newly purchased Swordfish Pro+ 200 amp ESC. Would not open on version 4 so as I had already downloaded version 5.02, I tried that and the programme ran normally.

First, you have to be sure you are using the right comm port. Need to go to “Hardware Devices” on your computer. Plug the cable in when attached to your ESC. You should see the Device List refresh, note what pops up in the USB section. It will say what port that is. Use that port number in the Heifi program. If you plug it into a different USB port on your computer, the port number will change, so use the same port.
