Question ABC or other prop reccomendations for P mono

I have a 4082 SSS 2000Kv motor and would like to run an ABC prop. Octura works too and probably have one like a 447 x 3, D/T 452, etc..

    Would a 20 15 17 or 20 16 17 45 work well??

    DF33, 10K High C Revo, 200 amp Castle esc or maybe my old 200A SF LV I ran with a 1521 1.5D.

I have a DF33 with a TP 4050/2100kv and have run 2 blade ABC's 1816 17* and 1914 17*. Not as fast around an oval as an Aluminum CNC 44mm/3 pulling 200-210 amps. Have an 1814-15-60/3 on order. My 447/3 is faster but may not make 6 laps without getting too hot. If your not locked in on the ABC try the alum 3 blade on here. It's cheap and might surprise you.

    Thank you.

Where do you get the 3 blade ABC's from??

    I have a couple of OSE 48mm x3 CNC props I haven't tried yet.

The SSS motor is most likely around 1900KV. I've found I can turn some fairly large props on these motors because the stated KV might not be as high as it really is. That said I have not run this motor yet.

Time to bolt it in and go for a break in spin.

    Thanks Mic

Too late, missed it and just placed an order. If you order again, let me know. I literally just pressed the button, damn...

    Don't know which one anyway???

Besides, I'd rather have someone else do a 3 blade for me.

I think the 1914/3 might be a little stiffer than the 447/3. My CNC 44/3 works well but I would like something with less tongue and higher rake. The ABC's are just that but hard to find. I guess direct from ABC might be best.

That 1521 is likely a better option Ray. We've run that on as much as a 450/3. It even liked a 646/3. The down side is that you end up riding a little higher in the water that way.

Has anyone ever ordered from ABC directly and actually received their orders?

    Yeah, been there done that.

I sold the 1521 I had in it and was going to just run P spec. Got a deal on a cheap SSS so I'll give it a go and see if it goes or blows, lol...

It would be nice to have the DF33 or the Cyberstorm run a little lower in the water.

I do have a 1521 1.5D in my cheetah I'm just putting the guts back into to test shortly. It's a heavy boat compared to a DF33, specially after a couple repairs to hull. I could also swap motors from cat and see what happens..

Selling the 1521 got me a Galvatron Cat so, it wasn't a bad trade off.

I'm assembly line building right now.

I have a 1915/2 coming so I could play with that.

I changed an esc setting with program box (SF220) and did not cycle power off an on again. It went around to the back straight and kept going at about 50mph into the shore and a tree branch slowed it down.

I uploaded the picture so I could download it again to my PC. I am putting it back together right now and I could not find where the hole was for the power switch. Then after I remembered I sealed it up and planned to put it elsewhere than top rear.

    I know. Thanks and sorry.

    Just rigging it up now.

Did you have to cut the branch?

haha No you snapped er clean off. I had mixed emotions about that one. I felt terrible for ya but was also impressed by the level of carnage. Like something I might have done myself. I burned a Whip into shore and tore the deck open like a clam. I left the grass in it like a badge of honor.

Terry soon as you tell me what buffing compound you use I'll get this one back in the water.
