I recall going on a class outing down a local river in an electric boat back in the late '80s. it must have been fairly big, as there was the driver, 2 teachers, 30 odd kids and a conservationist doing a talk.
My family had a river boat with an outboard engine, but I saw so much more wildlife on that trip than I had seen on any other river trip it was incredible, it was so quiet and glided down the river peacefully without scaring anything away.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment
