This is the only thing I use in a spray bomb for, seats only. Everything else is Imron aircraft paint for hull deck and side

Today, Mask off all edges and feather in all joints with Duraglass (a marine form of Bondo) Then remove tape and sand with various size dowels to conform with all edges and smooth with 180 grit paperIM002821.jpgIM002822.jpgIM002823.jpgIM002825.jpg

The sanding and feathering in will be a full ten hrs but the end result will look like a one piece deck IM001810.jpg example photo

Edges and joints sanded and first coat of white to look for screw ups , repair anything that was missed of not sanded enough or needs more work . Then sand with 400 wet and dry and spray last coat of color . After that another wet sand with 400 and Imron clear the whole deck.IM002826.jpgIM002827.jpgIM002828.jpg

Yup! Yesterday clearcoated sides and bottom. Great day to paint , no crap in the air. Today Wet sand with 1500 wet and dry paper and then 2500 wet and dry . Then buffed with a HD buffer and heavy compound then mild . Here is the end result , Mirror finish no dust no bugs no fisheyes just perfect conditions, and yes what you see is all reflections of everything around the boatIM002848.jpgIM002849.jpg Next, Chrome gunwale and detail console. Be back soon!

Amazing work. If I had even half of your talent, I would look for a displacement hull and start making a Nordhavn 55.

Today , installed the gunwale . Incase anyone wants to use this stuff it's really good stuff, 1/8 inch wide ,self adhesive chrome . bends easily and resilient . Makes the boat look real. It is made by Protekto Trim 1/8 X 30' $27.00 IM002852.jpgIM002853.jpgIM002854.jpg
