    Default Hull repairs

    What type of filler are you fellas using on the abs hulls .To fill dents and such

    I used to cut up Lego blocks and mix them with acetone.

    With so many decent glass hulls around these days I am not sure I would bother now though, it could be Poseiden's way of telling you to stop pissing about and upgrade to a hobby grade hull.

    I am currently repairing an old ABS hull. For bonding, etc., on the interior I use West System G-flex 650 resin and carbon fibre and for filling small dents on the exterior I use Tamiya basic grey filler. The G-flex and carbon fibre inlay has resulted in an extremely stiff hull.
