Default a question about prop longevity.

Baring hitting something or otherwise damaging the prop does a sharpened and balanced prop wear out and if so what is the usual life span for a Beryllium Copper propeller.

You generally hit some thing & damage a prop long before you would wear one out, the sharper & thinner the blades will get nicks in the leading edge easier. This will require re dressing now & again, unless the damage is more severe.

Thanks. That's kind of what I thought but I was curious so I had to ask.

Cnc alloy props damage the easiest ( very easy to damage ) then beryllium copper with stainless steel being pretty tough.
