Those look like nice boats. What prop are you using now and what prop are you going to try next? If you don't mind me asking.

It looks about right for 4s with the stock prop. I would guess it's probably running around 42mph. It could be aired out a bit more if you wanted to max it out . I like mine to come a little higher out of the water. It does look good for totally stock on 4s though.

Depends...Are your batteries all the way back or in the middle of the tray?

You can polish the front face of the prop blades. Some say to leave the trailing faces unpolished so they can push water better. The majority of my props are polished on both sides and I don't pretend to be accomplished enough to ever tell the difference.

Mark, I would appreciate it if you could please send it to me as well. I don't think there's anyone better to get any tips from the top speed holder on record.

The 1816-17-45, first 2 numbers is 1.8" diameter, the 1.6 is the pitch ratio. 17 is the blade rake, 45 is the blade area ratio.

There you go Charles from the Wizzard himself...Lol!. NY must have had a snow storm because he's been pretty active on here lately. I'd jump on that 1716 but pick the one you want I'd shy way from the 10* rake though. I'm sure he will have the18 series in stock by the time it's nice enough to run again..Just tell him to reserve you one. Make sure you give him promo code MADRCER for my employee discount...LOL!

I understand the dia.and the pitch because of my airplane and ducted fan background so I'm guessing g the rake is the angle of the blade relative to the hub ?
