Anybody try a m445 on the blackjack on 4s-6s?
I am upgrading my cooling now using larger id hose and making a pickup using some K&S tubing to cool both the esc and motor seperetly, I did this on another boat and it worked out very good.

sorry please move this to the prop site.
The best prop I ran on 4S was an Octura x642 with an otherwise stock boat and my speed was 41mph. The same prop on 6S ran 50mph. I later switched to an Octura 440/3 and lowered the ESC timing to 7.5* and it ran 60mph consistantly on 6S, albeit at the upper ranges of comfortable running temps. I now run mostly ABC props and something like the 1715 17/45 would work out well with the stock motor. It's similar to an Octura 543 in terms of sizing, but more aggressive.
I sold that Blackjack to REDLINE1 who installed a dual pick-up rudder and his temps were much better. I've since bought a Miss Geico because I missed the Blackjack and chose to install a through hull pickup in the bottom of the sponson rather than mess with the rudder or add something to the transom. It was a much cleaner installation.

M445 is a good Octura prop for this setup on 4s. The detongued feature gives a tad more RPM over the X with a compromise in holeshot, in my opinion. However, my max speed was obtained by swapping to the 17 degree rake ABCs.
