    Default converting nitro to electric

i have a 42"x11" deep v. boat kit was purchased from Prestwich model boats UK. it is a submerged drive, ran with a 0.61 sc nitro.

i am wanting to convert this to electric and looking for roughly the same performance. im am open to all opinions and information. plz ask more questions if more info is needed to help.

I did this a couple of years ago with an old Wardcraft 40" deep vee. I asked a bunch of questions and received several answers on an old post I created here: https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...7107&styleid=7. Hopefully it helps you (my boat was also a .61 nitro and had a submerged drive; I wound up converting to a surface drive (Stinger)).

Yes the conversion from under water drive to surface drive will certainly add more speed .
