I used a 3mm carbon fiber rod, a hatch hold down kit, silicone grease, RTV gasket maker and kwik weld epoxy. Around $30 for all supplies. Tested the final product in the pool to check waterproofing effectiveness. Results were a nice waterproof seal.

I glued 2 rods to the front of the hatch. Drilled two holes to the front of the hull opening for the rods to insert into. Installed the hatch hold down kit to the rear of the Revolt. Made a gasket for where the hatch fits into the hull. Silicone grease was applied to the hatch's bottom contact points so the gasket would not stick to the hatch while pressing the hatch to the hull to mold the gasket. A few picks of the supplies I used.
