GP 400 CoG

Worked on trying to figure CoG last evening to determine how heavy of motor or other weight was needed. I balanced the mock up with hardware on the back, servo installed, Batts installed and a T180 just as a space taker-upper. I used some lab weights from the balances we have at work. Looks like about 790 grams right ahead of center rib. The mock up was balanced on an architectural scale on top of a narrow box so not part of the boat touches anything.

Cowling was installed also for the look-see. CoG appears right about 1 to 1.5 behind heel. Fin not installed so I could see.

Hope to remove amine blush from epoxy coat tomorrow and likely mold release was from cowling. Then sand and prime.

Nice GP. You should put your cog around the leading edge to the bottom edge of the turn fin. This works really well for me I have a Q hydro from Mike as well.
