    Default motor on low voltage.

if a motor says it can be run on 4-8 cell lipos and you run it on 3 cells, will it damage anything? esc in setup can run as low as 2 cells.

Shouldn't hurt it. Torque output will be low however. As the voltage drops, it's gets harder to get amps into the motor, so torque falls off. Going lower is much better than too high, that's for sure! What you got there is a solid 6s motor. I try not to run the motor at it's upper rating.

No risk of damage. It will just give lower performance unless you prop up. The rpm may be a bit low, depends on the Kv and voltage. But it will not cause damage.

I have run the leopard 4092 1730 on 2s and 3s. On 2s speeds in the low 20's with a 45mm prop, on 3s in the 30's, same prop. In a aqua craft revolt.

I actually have an exceed shark, a mono 1 boat, with a 2860 5050 kv leopard copy. The shark with an m435 3 blade, on 2s with the 5050kv is slower than my revolt. With the leopard 4092 1730kv on 3s.
