Restoring Lipo Battery, best way to do it?

I just found a 3S 1250mah lipo (That was for a plane, but plan on using it in a tunnel hull I will be purchasing sometime in the future until I can afford a better lipo and before anyone mentions it, I do realize it will give me short run times ) and was wondering what is the best way to bring it back to "life".

The battery has been in a toolbox that has been kept in a closet, so no visible signs of puffing, it was never used. So I am wondering if I should charge the battery, then put it in storage mode.

What are the individual cell voltages? If they are reasonably close then charge at a low rate to full charge. The cells should be within 0.04 volts of each other, preferably closer if your charger/balancer are working. If things look good then discharge to 3.85 volts per cell an store.

I will have to check the lipo on my charger (which does lipo and nimh, among others) when I get home.
