Default Are the connector inserts removable?

I've been using MAPP gas micro-torch to get bullet connectors, soldered on to the 8awg wire, as I don't have a 250w + soldering iron.

Are the inserts on thses anti-arc connectors removable?

Or, is the plastic connector around the inserts faily melt resistant?

No, not removable. I use a Hakko FX888 solder station set to 750*F and a large size chisel tip to solder those connectors. To keep the internal plastic isolation rings from melting, I use heat sinks in the form of a charging lead connected to the battery end I'm soldering, or in the case of an ESC, the opposite connector pair with a set of needle nose pliers grasping the metal tabs.

I soldered them last night actually. My iron worked just fine. Teach me to micro-panic instead of trying first. lol
