Default *** 2017 Atlanta Spring Nationals Results ***

    Hey Gang,

What a weekend of racing in Atlanta, GA! Great people, fast boats, and good times… We powered through 96 heats on Saturday knowing the weather forecast for Sunday was not in our favor. It was the right thing to do! We raced in between downpours and finished heat 164 and two run-offs at a very respectable time on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to all the racers from near and far who attended the event. It was one of the smoothest running races I have been involved with in my 13 years with the club. Special thanks to the crew on the tower, the ladies under the food tent, and the retrieve boat drivers. Tip of the hat to our class and raffle sponsors. We appreciate your support!

Just wanted to thank Lamar, Doug, Don and the whole Atlanta club for a great race weekend.
As always, a very well run event and great venue. We definetely plan to attend again next year.

Thx also to Terry and the MMEU gang, Howard Tucker, Dougie, Pags, & Tom Baffer, for all the
help & support they gave me and my son at the event. Seems like we now have traveling groups
attending every big race this year......this is very good for the sport.
It is also notworthy that almost all of the classes for this event sold out.
    Hopefully this better attedance continues.
    Thx again,
    Ken & Fede

No problem! Happy to keep everyone updated... This was by far the largest turnout of electric boats we have ever hosted in Atlanta.

As the hobby continues to evolve, so will we!

    Thanks,
    Lamar

Thanks Ken, glad you guys came and even more happy you had a good time.

We had a great group of guys and gals turn out for the event this year. No arguing, harsh words, or hurt feelings.

Just good times, great racing, and even better memories!

    Thanks,
    Lamar
