    Default Smc lipos

I got a Spartan in a trade. Not my first choice.

I'm looking to get 2 sets of lipos and have been looking at smc 9000mah 60c 3s
    http://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?...product_id=348
    Or
Revolectrix 5000mah 3s packs. I read the revo's run better than the standard lipos.

    Which would be better?

The 5000mAh 3S Revo's are good batteries, I ran them last summer. The 9000mAh SMC's are going to be big and heavy and take forever to charge.

    I also used 5000mAh 3S battery.

I have several SMC packs and they have been very good. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from them.

For me, in this order. Revolectrics, SMC, SPC (last two are the same cells). Agree about the 9000mah, will be BIG. I still have some 7200mah from them. They are the size of 4s packs.

SPC stopped selling their r/c packs a few months ago. I agree I also have a pair of 3s 7200mah SPC's and they are pretty large partly because of the hardcase.

The reason I was asking about 9000mah packs for longer run times(not all at once 6-7 mins let them rest, then another short run) but now that I typed that out, sounds stupid. After looking at the specs of the revo's they seem like good packs. Revo>SMC I like you said.

SPC stopped selling lipos, I would have said gen aces... but everywhere I looked has been out of stock. Venom seems like hit and miss.

In my opinion for your application most definitely.
Those batteries will have much more power and you will have a much longer run time.

Revo 5000mah vs SMC 9000mah packs, personally I would choose SMC for greater overall power and runtimes.
