    Thanks :)

The origin name is TOMCAT M2, designed by Andreas Petz and co. from Germany/Hungary (Kris Czobor and Laci Majoros).
Current producer is Randolf Schmid (Rasch Modellbau).

It requires bit play with hull trimming, but the substance is very good.

    Hi,

Since 2011 Im using Sanwa RC stuff. Usually Sanwa Exzess X with RX 451 receivers but this time I decided to try the Sanwa SD10G with RX 631 duo area and found better for my hands anatomy. Somehow a bit longer sticks performes smoother controll to me. For oval boats thats true, we do not need high response and extremely high reaction, rather smooth consistant handling with high precision. But in general, its up to the drivers habit what to use.

What I like is the duo area wires of the receiver, gives extra safety of control.

And the quality of the Sanwa products.....no question.

My Icharger says me, the consumption @ 3 minutes was 1900mAh, seems I can go up to 43-44mm with prop diameter for 6min heats. And thats good.
Next test will be 4min. run, then 5min run with same small 40mm prop and the first push-push for 6min with 43mm.
I like this boat very much :)

Sanwa is called Airtronics in the states, might help you find it if you are over there.

Wow nice detailed info thank you! So that is a air radio? Any issues using that on water at all? I grew up using 2 stick radios and always preferred them over the pistol radios.

Hi peter, how could I order one of these hulls from the US? Can't seem to find the order button on the rasch site.
    Thanks

Many top boat racers use stick radios to very good effect. I grew up on stick radios (well, actually button radios initially) but the first time I tried a wheel radio with a boat I was sold - never went back. YMMV.
