If you had $800 burning a hole in your pocket for a new RTR boat, which of these would you go for?

Prodrvr check this out : Product ID: ose-80250-1133
Check this one too: http://marinefe.com/product-category...ts/catamarans/
I like this one, but compare the specs to the one I listed and for the same price....http://marinefe.com/product/zonda-blue-catamaran-artr/
I'm better off with the 4082's.
The TFL on the ebay link has a "make offer" on it, so I'll be able to slide that price down. I have an r/c addiction and can't stop. I have a new Motley Crew that I just unboxed yesterday and I'm looking to drop almost three times what I paid for that boat lol.
Found this vid of the ebay one...the one with the 4082's

Genesis 36", Zelos Twin 36"
It is genesis. Item says now "TFL Hobby Genesis Twin Brushless Motor 4082/1600KV / 2 X ESC Seaking 180A"
The Promarine is a better boat IMO. The Genesis and the PM are made in the same factory by TFL. The PM is just a better design of the two in my opinion.
The Proboat Zelos 36 twin is really well constructed and plenty fast too.

Building opens the door to all kinds of possibilities. It wont likely save you any money but you'll get it exactly how you want it.

Just bought the Daytona that's in the swap shop here on OSE! Now comes the fun part lol
Great choice, always better to build your own, spec it the way you want, and reinforce it so it can do anything you like without destroying it.
You can't say the same for any RTR boat available on the market.
I bought the cf Daytona from kfxguy. I paid him extra to do reinforcements with honeycomb cf. Hull should be good for 100 +
This Motley Crew is the first electric boat I've had since the early 80's when I had a Kyosho Jetstream. After the Kyosho finally quit (ran it in salt water only because I grew up in a waterfront house and I never maintained it), I got my first gas boat. Had two others since. So the fastest gas boat I've ever driven went 68 mph. I would be happy to get the MC going close to that speed, but the Daytona will definitely the hotrod boat for sure.
You got a good boat he is full of great ideas on building also.
I'm gonna take a look at those builds of his. He already suggested what motors will get me into triple digits.
