Default aeromarine apache 50 motor/ esc?

Hey guys...I've recently acquired a 50 inch aeromarine apache.
I would like to go electric with it in hopes of getting the boat to be reliable.
I'm looking for speeds in the 45-50 mph range with decent run times.

What motor and esc would you guys suggest for a boat this size.
My guess is it would be running at least 10s lipos.
I do not have a unlimited budget lol, so any help in saving would
    also be appreciated.

    Thanks...

Did you ever finish this out? I'm looking to do the same thing now.

I haven't done anything yet. But the setup will be leopard 56110, 300 amp esc on 10s. Hopefully this summer I will have it going.

I would look at a Castle 2028, and the New swordfish 300, thats what I have in my 50" apache. The older 2028's, not the extreme, are usually cheap and easy enough to find and if you can't find one I'll sell you a brand new one for $150. These monsters have great power. 10s is nice but in a big boat like this I'm gonna try 8s and swing big gas size props, on 10s you will probably swing a 457/3 prop, not really that big in perspective with that boat. On 8s I can swing a 65-70mm prop and that will get that big hull moving.
