Huntsville, AL 2017 events list and Hotel information

Huntsville is going to be a busy site this year with a total of 7 events being hosted in 2017.

We have gotten a special pricing for all of our events this year for the Quality Inn at 6200 Torok Circle, Huntsville, AL 256) 837-7412 Ms. Nita Patel gave us a price of $75 +tax for any room for all of our events. To get this price racers must call and make the reservation and MENTION they are with the HMBA Huntsville Model Boaters Association. A few of our racers stayed there last year and stated it was very good with a real nice HOT free breakfast and very clean rooms this hotel is located behind Rosies Restaurant and is in a very nice section of town, it also has lots of parking for trucks with trailers.

The only event that is strictly nitro is the Internats the rest of our events are open to Nitro, GAS, and Fast Electric powered boats.

Our first event is a records trial April 17th thru 19th it is Monday-Wednesday it will offer all 3 courses as do all of our records trials 1/4 mile oval, 1/3 mile oval, and SAW!

Next event is our Spring Race Gene Taylor/ John Hall Memorial May 6th and 7th!

June brings the IMPBA's premiere event the Nitro International Regatta "The INTERNATS", "The NATS" This event includes Timed events and a race and the scores from all events will determine the US-1 winner for each class.

July has our summer records trial which brings out the Fast Electric guys from all over. July 14-16

Next up is October with a records trial first October 6th-8th
Then our Fall race which is The Rocket City Classic October 14th-15th

Our final Event is our Turkey Day Records Trial November 24-26

We*!**had to change the date of our July RECORDS TRIAL to July 14th thru 16th, 2017.*!** The city of Huntsville is hosting a large swim meet with over 1,100 swimmers so we had to change our date for this event.
