    Default Charger firmware update help

I purchased a new Hyperion 0610I Duo charger and was wondering if anyone has experience in updating the firmware? I think it needs a serial to usb connector which I am not sure will still work with a windows 10 computer

The Cable that I mentioned above in my post is the USB adapter cable.

Just so everyone is on the same page, the 610 duo does not have a mini usb port on the side and came with an adapter cable. I have never personally updated a Hyperion charger of that Vintage, only the 615's and 720's which use mini USB

A quick Google search shows they might still be available for order.

I didn't immediately find it where I "thought" it would be, but that doesn't mean I don't have it somewhere. Hobby area is a bit of a disarray.

Jim, that charger probably is not updatable...it is merely an option anyways. If the charger works, why not just use it?? What are you looking for in an update?

It seems to me that you are just over thinking things here!!...plug it into a power supply and try it out!!

They added new features and stability in the updates. I need to double check what version mine is
