    Default Leopard motor ?

Hi all looking at the Leopard motor listing noticed a # followed by a letter e.g. 2.5 D or 2.5 Y . What do these mean and how would it affeect which motor i select ? I usually go by KV rating alone. Regards Andris Golts.

    Cool

Don't worry about the wind (Delta or Wye), what matters is the Kv, motor size and quality. The wind used is just to attain a variety of Kvs not achievable with a single type and has little to nothing to do with motor performance - in spite of the erroneous idea that Delta winds are somehow amp hogs. You do have to know the type of wind to decide on the optimum timing advance to set on the ESC: D likes 0-5* and W likes around 15*.

I see tread with tp vs neu comparison in same boat but a leopard vs tp or leopard vs neu would be nice. Let say a 4092 vs 1527 neu or 4092 vs tp 4060. With like GPS and data logging if possible.
