Once I solved a damaged antenna issue on one receiver, I have had no problems with range and my Spektrum Tx/Rx. My local pond is at least 100 yards shore to shore.

    Cool

I have tested my Spektrum DX4R PRO out to over 900 feet with perfect control. Used it to set numerous SAW records where the boat starts almost that far away. I do run an external antenna. Both MR3000 and SR310 receivers have worked well for me.

I have used Futaba's FAAST systems with excellent results, but no better than the Spektrum.

The dual ESC's in my twin are wired in parallel and only use a single (throttle) channel on the receiver.
