Is that a pack of lead in the front of Mike's LSH? In the PVC tube?

Yes Ray, it is... I have several sizes that I can swap in and out... Once I have an idea of balance, I can/will put the weight permanently in the sponson tips.

          Not really,

Actually this boat was originally built for P sport but never got the boat trimmed out the way I like. It was then demoted to P-Limited Sport. Making the mistake in previous boats on permanent ballast, I chose not to do that with this one.

All I know is that all of Mike's boats turn like no others.......taking notes...... I think having the bulk of the weight at the CG (like Mike typically has) is very beneficial to turning. Weight at the extremities seems to cause problems.
