You will be surprised at how much an S/B prop will do.

I like the X440/3 but mine is on 6S. Strut depth is a key factor too.

I run a prather s220 on my V2 miss geico which is stock with a 60 amp esc, and a 1500 kv motor. I'm running 4s as well. Stock stainless proboat stiletto prop is basically a prather s215 but slightly better cast/cleaned up a bit. It certainly goes quick with the 220 wickedly sharpened, polished, and balanced...

I run 4S with a S&B Octura x642 and just hit 41mph today. Previous best was 38.5mph. I dropped the strut another 2mm this weekend. Motor wire connectors are still pretty hot, 180-190*F, but everything else was 130*F or cooler after a 5min full throttle run.

I've ran the b220 & x446. The 220 seems to be a great replacement. X446 is a bit to aggressive for stock electronics.

The prop is made by Octura. The model is an x440/3, which means x series, 1.4 total pitch, 40mm diameter, 3 blade. B/S was an abbreviation for balanced and sharpened. It's sold in a raw, unfinished version as well. It's made from copper beryllium. You can buy it from OSE prepped and ready to race here: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...B-oct-x440%2F3
