    Default Timing for t600 1250kv outrunner

    Just ordered 2xTurnigy Marine 180A esc´s for my big cat project(expresscraft thunderbolt)

    The motors are SK3 helidrive T600-1250kv

    Cant find that much info on these but I think they have 25 /steps when rotating 360 deg.

    Try to count number of magnets.

    Most helicopter outrunners run best in boats with around 15 degrees of timing advance.

    Yep, 15 is good, 8 pole motor, nice. Slightly better than the T600. yours has an aluminum cover pressed over the steel magnet holder for magnet heat dissipation.
