I was hoping to get some more Michigan guys interested in this one. It will be a tough sell with only one limited class.

Ooooops! I'm still a little FE Class "challenged" at times.

P Limited Sport Hydro, P Limited Catamaran, P Limited Mono all added, I see P Catamaran isn't that popular so I dropped it.

P Limited rules will run as per the NAMBA Rulebook, namely:

    d. P-Limited Approved Motors
    i) The motors shall be used as shipped from the manufacturer, with the
exception of creating a drive shaft flat spot, adding water cooling, and
allowing the motor to be connected to the ESC by any means.
    ii) Currently approved motors
    Brand Model Description
    AquaCraft AQUG7000 L36/56 7.2-18V – 6 pole brushless
    AQUG7001 36-56-2030 – 6 pole brushless
    AQUG7002 36-56-1800 – 6 pole brushless
    Himax HB3630 1500 brushless – 6 pole brushless
    ProBoat PRB3310 A3630-1500 – 6 pole brushless
    PRB4017 A3630-1800 – 6 pole brushless
    DYNM3835 A3630-1500kv – 6 pole brushless,
    water cooled, marine motor
    DYNM3830 A3630-1800kv – 6 pole brushless,
    water cooled, marine motor
iii) In addition, the CD has the discretion to allow the following:
    (a) An aftermarket motor that is a re-labeled and exact copy of any
    approved motor.
    (b) Any generational change of an approved motor, or a motor that
is used in a Ready To Run (RTR) offering from a manufacturer
that produces over 100 units of said offering, as long as there is
no more than a 5% increase in any of the following
manufacturers specifications as compared to any single
approved motor: Kv, maximum constant amperage rating,
    mass, and MSRP.
    (c) The race flyer shall list additional allowed motors for the event

    Question for our contest director.

There are a number of us that are considering bringing our FE scales out for some fun but at least two of them don't quite fit the FE scale unlimited rules for IMPBA. We just got done dancing with them at the Cup. If we contact each other and are at piece with the short comings can we still run them? Sure was fun despite them not really being exact.

Not sure exactly what the ruling would be on that, at first glance I would say if everyone that ran the class agreed to allow (not protest) the questionable boats I'd say why not. I do however know that under an IMPBA sanction any changes to the rules must be advertised on the flyer, and since the flyer has been published for months we can't really do that.

    What exactly are the "shortcomings"?

Just had a chat with jaike5 and between the two of us we came up with a solution.

"T Sport hydro" is now added, you can enter them all in there w/o having to conform to the IMPBA "Scale FE Unlimited Hydro" rules.

If mine pans out I'll be adding to the P sportage too. Should know for sure in a week or so.

Booked a room at the Quality Inn there in Hamilton if anyone wanted to know where the cool guys were staying.

I just noticed. FE is at 38% of the entries so far.

I'm working over two more of our guys to come along. (gonna try guilt next)

Where the heck are Mister Einstein and Mister Adams? No dedication I tell ya. (see that was shaming)

Then if we can get the Vacarro family on board we might make 50%. Come on Steve! You know you enjoyed playing toy boats. (appeal to the inner child)

    Just try'n to help Randy.

He plays with himself on a puddle near his house, won't come and play boats cause he's got his shorts in a not over something or other. If they didn't like me I'd come just to be a pain in the ass, like I do at the Michigan cup !!

If you plan on camping at the park please reserve with Kelsie at 905-643-2103 and mention "Model Boat Race".

Rates are $44 + 13%HST = $49.72/night, you have access to all the park's facilities and do not pay the daily admission fee. Great family value!

LOL, I think TK is in a funk with the request for 1/10th scale, couldn't wrap his head around so many FE boats, and then a class turning left pressure is on , with team USA making a clear run for the CanAm cup....... good luck men. Going to be a great race with Nitro/FE/Gas fuel classes represented.

    Race On .
