Default Recommendations for Central RC Marine CRC5000 53"

Hey guys! I'm starting to sell off all of my r/c's to fund a new project. I'm seriously interested in the 53" CRC5000 from Central RC Marine with the cf interior. I'm not sure which layup is better...light or heavy? I have no idea what either of those hulls weigh. My goal is to have this run at or near 70mph with twin motors. I'd love any and all recommendations for motors/esc's/props/flex shafts/6s or more? I'm not going to race it nor have unlimited funds. Thank you all for your help!!

What do you think of this for the twin setup on 8s...

I wouldn't go 8s with this boat. 12s would be a lot better, and you need bigger escs imo. Swordfish 240, or swordfish 300.

    If it was my boat

    Castle 2028 extreme 800kv, or leopard 5692 730kv
    12s Turnigy 5000 mah lipos
    457 prop

Nice setup, temps won't be bad and you'll really have to screw up to burn things.

The boat is too heavy for 8s I assume?

I have to shoot Rick an email to find out what this hull weighs with the cf interior.

Too heavy, too big, lot of stuff working against an 8s setup (on 1p with a small esc at least).

Twin castle 2028s on 10s per side would be a great start. Can bump up cell count or increase Mah depending on how close it is to your goals but I think the 2028 and sf240/300 with 457 props would be a great start.

Changing course now. Going with the 45" mystic from KBB. Thanks for your input.
