Nice Keagan!!... How hot where those 180aESCs? Those 4050 motors are pulling some juice!
Man... I have a baaaad 100mph itch that I just have to scratch.
Lol they weren't hot at all to the Touch. I don't have a temp gun to give a definitive reading

Keagan-Z06, What motors and props are you using on your set up? Are those OSE speed controls? That thing is fast! Looks like it hadles well with 4 batteries.
I will try and get the video uploaded. I'm using TP4050/2050kv and abc 1815-17-45. ESCs are Seaking 180. I do a high speed run and then a victory lap to cool things off and bring her in. No back to back high speed runs.

How do you connect the two esc's together?
Vid is up!

Now that's impressive! Awesome! Where do you get the motors?
I got them from the Classifieds from kfxguy but you can get them from TP website or on the OSE store I believe.

Thanks Redline! I almost gave up on this hull after being discouraged by a few mishaps.

Guys I was wondering if any1 tryed this props out http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...od=cnc-4514251 http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=cnc-4514251-R. I'm stuck on 52 miles one week now on vacations I'm using the boat 2 times a day and the max speed is stuck on 52-53 mph I tried to sharpen the stock props but I have no idea how good it is was my first time..I'm Gona order the ose flexes when they come back in stock and I'm thinking this props also but wondering if any1 tryed them before.

Yes Idd I'm running 2x3s but I think there was more peeps with 2 bats that was getting around 60s,i might be wrong thow but thanx for the tip!

i think you have some problem coz you should stay over 60mph...
check struts settings (i've stock setup), lubricate front bearing, put good grease on the flex, that's all.
Then use fresh LiPos, that's important, specially if you use two 3S only.

Don't be discouraged, I too was stuck in the 50's. Before I got crazy, I ran 60-63 with stock motors, stock electronics, OSE flex, x447s and 2 (6S) packs. The best I think I got was around 65, never touched it again but I blame the Revos being tired. I followed these guys and did the sand and polish flexes, make sure 1/4" gap between drive dog and strut and I made sure my flexes went dead center into the collet, along with the usual generous greasing. Also as banijx said, make sure the struts are equally leveled, neutral should be what you want since you are still on stock props.

I managed 70mph on a stock boat with x447 props from Dasboata and your same batteries. It's one thing to sharpen props yourself, and its an entirely different thing to use a set done professionally. Not only are they razor sharp, they're thinned out, de-tounged, and balanced. I would PM Dasboata (Chris) and see if he's willing to ship to Greece.

Ty all guys for helping and suggestions:) really appreciate it!

i'm using 47mm cnc props from TFL hobby and top speed is good... 63...
but i agree with all: props are most important thing in the chain so they have to be perfect! (same as tyres in a car)
i will buy ABC 1714-17-45 (for my opinion 1715 no ok for summer, as CNC 47mm) and i will send to best balancer in Italy: he's a race specialist and ask for 20 euro each prop.
too much diameter is not ok coz motor can not reach top rpm...
anyway you have to put in the bill:
a better flex, i will take the jeff flexes: rcracerboat.com
2x 6S LiPos as Turnigy HD or Zippy Compact, 40/60C at leat 3000mah...

hi guys as u know i have built many speed run cars but these are my two first boat builds.i am building these strictly to do straight line speed passes then they can cool and then do another pass just like in cars.the setup i have are two custom wound cordova 2700kv 1.5x4 inch 8s cordova motors that will both be each running off of two 4s thunderpower 70c batteries for a total of 8s each motor with each there own 300 amp esc and i am running the wires drives off of the guy who makes and sells them on this site.my question is which props would u guys go with to do just strictly these type of speed runs passes as i am trying to get well over the 100 mph mark as this boat and setup will take me.yes i know this is a fiberglass boat but i thought it will be fun to do as my other build was the 48 inch zelos with a 1650 kv lehner motor running on 10s but i am asking help for the 36 inch.any input as into best prop setup for this would be greatly appreciated.thanks in advance.
At that much RPMs? Something in unobtainium. Just throwin this out there but, if I was you. At 2700kv Id run 6s and Im crazy.... But back to the question. Im no pro but Id say at that RPM you would want a smallish (40-43mm) low pitch high rake prop. Keep in mind you are smacking a cast metal object into the only thing on this earth that is not compressible at incredible speeds. Im sure someone with more prop knowledge will weigh in.
