    Default Floureon LiPo

I bought a New Floureon 11.1v 5000 50c LiPo battery on eBay. When I tried to chrge it, all 3 of my chargers give me the same message.
Check Battery....Low Voltage. None of them will charge it. The seller refunded my money within 24 hours, and told me to just dispose of it, they didnt want it back. 2 questions, what is wrong with it, and can it be revived?

This means the cell voltage is below the low safe limit. Lipos are picky and dangerous creatures. I've brought many back to life safely but it's dangerous. Check the cells first with a voltage checker. If one cell reads zero then your your wasting your time. If you've got over 2.0v in each cell, you may be in luck. I use a cheap traxxas charger, put it on the lowest amp setting on nimh and use an extension cord and do this out on my driveway far away from everything.

The seller gave you the best advice you will receive. "Just dispose of it"
It's not worth the risk (fire etc.) and if you do bring it back "safely" the capacity will be diminished.

IMO this practice is an accident waiting for a place to happen, but if you're a gambling man.............

    Good luck.

Travis, I have done this a few times with a balance board
I put a good lipo on the board then attach the lipo with the low cell and hook it up and the board balances the packs together in a safe way IMO
    works great
