just scored a new never used bj 29 v2 at a steal 250$, looking at upgrading esc to either a 120a 0r 180 a seaking only running 4s stock 1800kv motor. which would you choose

I bought one and have run it 6 times in my revolt.
Leopard 3674 1900kv on 4s. X642 prop I'm very happy with it.

I have been running a stock BJ V2 in 2015 on 4s, no problems at all, why would you feel you need to upgrade the 80amp ESC that is in the boat?

just for a back up, and would like to replace motor with the 2200, where I run my boat there r some guys that run 6s on their stock equipment. I keep telling them that it wont last, then I can make a little money and upgrade the esc in my boat

I see most rtr motors are 36mm can was thinking on getting different motor say like a 4
0mm can motor would that be like a plug n play in my bj 29

just outfitted my bj with an ose 150a raider and a 4 pole 3674 2250kv motor and a x642 prop running 4s 50c. cant wait for the ice to melt. still have to blueprint the hull
