Default Why not add a heart attack to the list of my issues.....

Laying here in Trillium CCU. Had a mild to moderate one. Called 911 myself as I live alone. Rushed to hospital by ambulance. Had 3 stints put into 2 arteries. Feeling good, getting transferred back to Milton later today for a couple more days observation.
Blessed by God I'm still here, blessed to have the family and incredible girlfriend Wendy.

Just saying hi to my peeps in my little world of toy boat.

There are 3 people I will now erase from my life, none are in here or run Electrics. Keven Sheren knows who they are.
I don't need their stress in my life anymore.

I'll chat back when I'm home in a few days.

Love you guys, love my MI peeps.

    All is well!

Speedy recovery, Ray. Keep us posted. Enjoy your friends.

I can relate. I was born with a heart condition and knew I'd be facing surgery one day. Well that day has come. In March I have to drive to Minnesota from southern Louisiana and go to the mayo clinic. They are replacing my aortic valve with a mechanical valve and then they are repairing a leaking tricuspid valve. Major surgery and the doctors I've seen only want me to go to this specialist in Minnesota. Good to hear everything when ok with you. I'm trying to stay positive myself and I've heard lots of positive heart surgery stories here lately so that helps too.

Wow! You make my issues trivial.
I'll keep you in mind come March and I wish you all the best!

Thx! Yours isn't trivial I assure you! I haven't really told many from the forum about it or said anything publicly about it till now.....so if you guys don't hear from me in (surgery in late May) April, well you know what happened.

Thanks again guys! Randy, I almost pushed it too much today. I'm taking it easy like he said for the month. SOB.... I hate not doing stuff!!!

I've had my downs too. They say it's normal to get emotional after such medical events and they are right.

Medication is a pain in the u no what.

I have Wendy with me for bit and she is a blessed angel. I'd be a goner if it weren't for her. Some women are just amazing.

A little reading and blogging here seems to keep me calm and is pretty labor free.

I'm lucky to have you guys to sniffle too as well as my family. I feel bad for people that would face this alone, that would be really hard.

Ray, take care of yourself, that is the important issue at this time and by the looks of the photo, you told the dude with the scythe to piss off.

Cut it out Ray! Take better care of yourself man. Like I have any room to talk. I've been telling my wife for years that when they find my body there will likely be a cheese burger lodged in my aorta. No real need for an autopsy. "Awe...................look he's smiling......doesn't he look happy? Is that ketchup on his face? What's with the toy boat he's clutching?"

Screw things that add stress. Life's too short to be surrounded by much that doesn't bring you joy. Sure some stress just happens. Taxes, the furnace needs to be fixed, UPS is late with boat parts..........scary stuff like that. Just don't take on stress that you can choose not to.

    Feel better Ray.

    Ray:

Quit coming up with excuses...roll you butt to the pond and start testing your boats, there's still open water here and you will do and say anything not to take advantage of it...

That's a lot of effort to not run boats Ray. WTH

He's probably on a rickshaw between facilities right now and can't respond. Might as well pick on him while he's helpless.

I'm home, taking it easy. Reality set in at home. All is good. Wendy is helping me and I need it.

    The P-shooter should arrive tomorrow

Hey, at least I waited until after 2pm to post today.
