    Default Blackjack 29 best speed?

Just wondered what is the best speed you guys are getting on the BJ-29 with the stock electronics?

The best I have gotten so far is 53 mph on 6's and a 215 Prather prop.......any tips on getting a little more speed out of her or is that about it on stock electronics?

The prather 215 is basically the same as the stock prop . I have the Miss Geico v3 which is the same boat. I burned up 2 stock motors on 6s playing with props. A m445 by octura caused the failures. I switched to a Leopard 4074 1650 kv and a Seaking 180 amp esc with an octura m545 prop and the boat hauls with that setup on 6s and no heat issues. I haven't gps'd it yet but I would say its near 60 mph. There isn't much room for trying different props on 6s in stock trim. I have heard of some people using the prather 220 with some success on 6s but I wouldn't encourage it.

I bought 5 different props for mine. Tried one at a time. 56 is best I seen. Motor did not make it. I'm looking at motors and esc now.

58.1 on stock everything, reworked strut and balanced/sharpened stock prop.
