    Default 1/8 Scale Championship

Here's the last three races of our 15 race championship for this year.
It's been a hard fought series with the lead changing a few times over the year.
Damien (the orange & white boat) went into this final round in the lead but had ESC problems all day. Unfortunately couldn't even start the first race. We held up the running of the second heat while he drove home to get another ESC. But that didn't help his cause either.
He ended up third overall with Ash (the blue Atlas Van Lines) coming second, & myself in first with the U-95.

    Here's heat 1

    Yep.
Mainly because the oval track is smaller than a full 1/5 mile course at our club. So it was decided to add the extra buoy to make the races a bit longer. Adds a bit of extra fun too. And there is a 150 point penalty if you cut that top buoy. Of course at State or National meetings there would be the longer oval track to race on.

That's correct. Adds another dimension as you can see.
It's the same course we run the Offshore Cats & Monos.
