For 1/8 scales the NEU 1527 1.5Y is a well tested and solid performer.

Sorry to dig up a old thread...

A boat im interested in has a TP 5850 1000KV motor in it, MBP-rc 300amp ESC, its a mono, running 10s

I always wanted a boat with a 30XX series lehner...

        How comparable is a Lehner 3060 / 6 1167KV - I know the Lehner KV is 'loaded'

I see a Tp5850 output max is 12kw, Lehner is 17kw... they are very similair sized motors?

not fussed about having overkill in the boat, will probably keep prop the same.
