Politics nor Religion is not gonna save any of you, No matter who gets in. your interest are not important thats why you are surveyed at the polling booth with the final decision giving to the electoral college, your fighting against a machine who keeps you divided: Black, White, Man, Woman, Liberal, Conservative, Straight, Gay, Republican, Democrat, Old, Young, Tall, Short, Fat, Skinny...It's a perfectly construct machine with checks and balances at every level. The sheep's no longer need the sheepdogs because they keep themselves in check. Most political speech writers are taught to write speech for a 8 grade level of education, because thats the level of education most of us will ever acquire.

We are not taught to do critical thinking. Monday Night Football, Dance with the Stars, American Idol, et' al, these are the things that occupy most of our time. We have the most educational institution per square mile and yet still Corporations fight for H1B visas, I think their actions speak volumes. Change is inevitable regardless of who disapprove.

The World Bank and the IMF terrorizes every nation on the planet through economical terrorism, as we(U.S. corporations) benefit the most. As long as the circumference of your thinking is defined by linear non exploratory thinking, you subject your self to a paradigm of subjectivity, and subject are just that, subjects to those who control every aspect of their lives : Religion, Politics, Economics, Education, Food, Shelter.

We've forgot how to fight to liberate ourselves, all we do now is pass the buck to proxies called politicians and give them a blank check with no accountability until it's the next time to be re-elected. Politicians are useless

Speak for yourself... My family is still fighting, and will continue to do so... Unfortunately... it appears that we may just go down fighting... because in general, you are correct... Too many have forgotten what America stands for... We're about to be "blended" into the rest of the World... Some view this as a good thing... But I believe it will spell the end of this being the "greatest nation" ... let's face it.... if you aren't on top... someone else is...

And it appears a majority of this country is just fine with that...

We could really use some LEADERs right now... because this is becoming a nation of "what have you done for me lately" followers...

We'll like I said Darin, we've allow laziness to get the best of us, by voting for politicians and giving them a blank check with no accountability except for when it's time for re-election. NAFTA-GATT, SPP Now the AMERO...Our sovereignty is a thing of the past because of our passiveness. it's a wrap, unless every American and I mean every (Without sacrifice no ground is gained) walk on Washington, Remove every incumbent, numbers speak volumes but with division the opposition reaps all the time.

    Here you go:

Commemoration of Theodore of Tarsus, Archbishop of Canterbury, 690 The peculiarity of ill temper is that it is the vice of the virtuous. It is often the one blot on an otherwise noble character. You know men who are all but perfect, and women who would be entirely perfect, but for an easily ruffled, quick-tempered, or "touchy" disposition. This compatibility of ill temper with high moral character is one of the strangest and saddest problems of ethics... No form of vice -- not worldliness, not greed of gold, not drunkenness itself -- does more to unChristianize society than evil temper. For embittering life, for breaking up communities, for destroying the most sacred relationships, for devastating homes, for withering up men and women, for taking the bloom off of childhood -- in short, for sheer, gratuitous misery-producing power -- this influence stands alone.

As a person not living in the USA.
We have a global problem that neither candidate can solve. I am afraid to say it is time to batten down the hatches as the true storm has not hit yet. The world leaders today are a very poor lot.

Well Douggie, I think this sums up my feelings on who we should hold responsible for the mess we are in:

Ask a politician, "Does the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one?" It seems to me that the needs of the few have been the choice of late. We can place blame on the politicians, the banks, Greedy CEO's, etc. but aren't we just as much to blame for blindly letting this happen? I agree with RCPrince. But I also want to add that we have become very complacent in our thinking. We allow others to make decisions for us. To take basic rights and freedoms from us a little at a time, knowing that we won't object as long as it is in increments, and impose laws and regulations that they themselves pay no heed to. The constitution is not just a document, but an establishment of what made this nation great. "We, the people" should not be mistaken for "We, the politicians" or "We, the richest". Those that we choose to lead us should be held accountable if they fail us. That's my rant.

Here's a little background on Obama that even I (a hard-core Right-Wing Extremist), did not know:

I find it odd that people would consider Hannity or O'Reilly "extreme right"... Guess that's just what happens when you explore ANY part of the "other side" of the story... and actually investigate the facts on both sides...

And I think they ask questions and provide discussion on topics that need to be talked about, but that the Left controlled media won't touch for fear of bringing down the second coming that they think they are a part of...

How any true American can just sluff off the facts surrounding this guy and what he stands for is unbelievable to me... He wants to bring "change" all right... Pure Socialism/Marxism... NOT the kind of change this country needs...

Think about it for a moment... When is the last time you can think of ANY US Presidential candidate parading around young school kids singing songs of praise about how he's going to "lead" them into the future??

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdPSqL9_mfM

This kind of stuff is what we see in Russia and China and, yes... in Germany just prior to WWII... Images of the would-be US President as a "Glorious Leader"... Sorry... That's been tried... And my Grandfather and many others had to go over there and clean the crap up do to the aftermath... Hell... the guy has his own seal/symbol/flag already... Is that something that NORMALLY happens?? Sure... if you are in Germany maybe... Check out the "Obama Seal" flag in the background of that video...

Oh... and then there is this:

    Just great...

Sorry... but this is NOT the kind of change I can support... ESPECIALLY when I KNOW that the party that looks like it is going to end up getting elected is the party that truely has caused this mess in the first place...

thats why I stay away from the alphabet soup media, left, right sounds like a military cadence walk.

"How any true American can just sluff off the facts surrounding this guy and what he stands for is unbelievable to me... He wants to bring "change" all right... Pure Socialism/Marxism... NOT the kind of change this country needs..."

Presidents are puppets, Military generals have more power and experience than these clowns, You think in all seriousness a general(s) with 25 to 30 years of power and knowledge is gonna allows some pasty over ride their decisions ha, Eisenhower said it best "In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist." Socialism/Marxism been on the agenda before Obama, he or any other president is not even a cog in the wheel of global control.

The European union, The Asian union, The African Union, The North American Union and the one world union. Obama will be Elected because his imagery will accelerate the African union and help siphon more resources out of Africa, regardless of who likes it or not, Americans don't matter anymore in the greater scheme of things, We make nothing, 75 percent of our fossil fuel comes from abroad, all of our highly educated doctors, engineers come from some of the most impoverish nations on the planet.

We are being imprisoned by our gluttonous appetite to consume. our children are glued to xbox, Nintendo, mobile texting, yahoo, msn, aol messengers, the latest fashions, the best cars, homes, while children in the rest of the world are struggling to study in candle light and dirt beds, we turn our nose down at them today but tomorrow they'll make the policies , run the corporations that control you, and it's happening right now.

President do what they are selected to do when placed in office manage the company they were hired to manage for the share holders, which ain't us.

Anyone that lets others do their thinking for them.....parrots their favorite talking heads claiming it as their own.....buys into sound and image bites like they were penny stocks......well lets say I don't hold them in the highest regard intellectually.
