    Default Esc help

I have a miss geico 29 with a SSS 2050 KV motor the stock esc went into melt down the fifth or sixth time I put 5 s on it. Will a seaking 120 amp be ok with 4 5 and 6 s?

Probably not on 6S, and depending on the prop not on 5S either. That motor has a relatively high Kv for the stock setup on 5S as you found out. What prop did you use when running 5S? How long was each run?

The seaking 180 will run it. I HIGHLY recommend disabling the internal bec and adding an external one along with a nice cap bank. 2050kv is a bit high kv for 6s running but it can be done if the boat it setup correctly (prop, not running too wet and prop not too deep in the water). You could make it run more reliably on 4s and 5s however.
