Default Blackjack running hot? now fixed!

Guys my BJ29 was running hot on 6s.... i built this boat up to run 6s.. yes im only running a 120 esc but until i have issues ill keep it.
im running duel rudder cooling with opened up rudder water holes and bigger lines.
the lower KV has helped huge and prolongs run time

    Leopard 4074 1400 kv
    Seaking 120
    Octura X 442 S&B
blue printed on 6s on a HEAVY slug of a reinforced boat. I bet the boat weights 5-6 lbs maybe slightly more with the 3s packs in it

temps after a timed 7 min run arnt even 80-90 F BUT the batterys are in the 120 range. just curious if i can run another prop or not. i have run a x 440 and now the x 442 the boat likes this prop. Currently the boat runs 50 mph as it sits so im unsure if i should keep this setup or get into a 1600 kv motor. after many issues with this boat im glad it finally runs very well... but i feel it has more in it

How does it handle compared to stock with the dual turn rudders?

Watch your temps in the summer. All good now but when the water warms you need to go over things again.

7 minutes is a long run on 3s batteries in series.

What is the "C" rating on your batteries? Brand?

    50c
Might change the motor up and run a 2-3 min run time. Something with more torque and top end

Seems like the C rating is capable, what is the MAH rating on the batteries and what is the brand? What connectors are being used? I'm just perplexed that the batteries are hot when the rest of the system is running very well.

Venom battery's. I've tried the deans connectors and stock proboat ones same result.
Tried many different props. I know it's "illegal" for 6s but I'm thinking a 2200kv with a sharpen and Balance 642 prop with 2 min run times OR modify the leopard 4082 1600 kv cannon I have sitting here to fit

I think maybe you might need a battery connector that can handle more amps. Deans connector are typically rated for 50 amps. Might be worthwhile to put some 5.5 bullets or somethi g that can handle 150 amps and see if the temps come down on the batteries.
