Yep.... Let the planning begin. Logistics coming from Canada could be a nightmare but, we'll see.

My understanding is that yes it will be in Washington.

I've known this for quite some time but it had not been announced. Call some of us paranoid but we didn't want to hint and then have it go elsewhere. haha

August 8-13th, 2016 at Twin Lakes. That's what I was told. Might be some wiggle room on that date. I don't know. I'm not putting on the race so that's my deal. I will help if they need any though. Hey, maybe I can drive the retrieve boat! So fun.

My wife actually WANTS to go to Seattle. It's so beautiful out there. My son has been bugging me since.................wait........ he never stops bugging me to go racing.

Glad to see interest already for the 2016 Fe nats. We know it's a log haul for most of the country to make it out here, but we will be doing our best to make it a fun event. The event will be outside of Seattle, just to the north, and that will bring lodging costs down a little. The club will be working on a website with all the information we can cram in very soon. I will post here as soon as more info is available.

Twin-Lakes has hosted several Nitro/Gas Nationals. It's a really good site, with lots of hotels, etc., very nearby.

Hmmmm... Washington, huh? Looks like I might have to get excited about building a few boats and going heat racing again...

That is great news, like Darin said several National events have been held at Twin Lakes, it is a perfect site for us. I can't wait! Darin, looks like I need to get going on some projects as well!

Absolutely Jim Clark, do you know Jim B. the vice commodore for PSFE club? We will never turn down help or support, and he is the main man for this venture. I am just a second year member, but I will be helping where I can as well. You are always welcome to come to a club race, in fact we are racing in Federal Way this Sunday. Come on by if you have the time. I am just guessing, but you have been in the hobby for a while yes? If you want more info, check our club site or I can PM you Jim B. contact info.

That's pretty true. I only know of two clubs that could pull it off. It takes a village to do even an okay job on it. I think Mike's gang at least knows itself. Some of us MMEU guys are just glutens.

The 2016 FE Nationals website is up and being built. Sign-ups are available with paypal. We are working on more content "okay, my brother is doing the work" and there should be lots of pretty pictures soon. Lots of openings for class sponsorship and we are working with a number of manufacturers. If you have ANY input, don't hesitate to chime in. Thanks to all the district 8 clubs that are helping.

We have our winter club meeting combines with another nats meeting in November. we will set the schedule then, and it should get updated to our club website. Not all of us are IT savvy, so it can take a short time. The guy doing the Nats. site is sharp, so that site should run real smooth. Hey, my folks winter in SunCity, Az. Any winter racing down there if I came to visit them? Club site?
