Dang it Pete. You have to put big red X's on the calendar before the wife gets all carried away. I got clearance from the other P sport guys to run my mono in sport. I plan to chase them and run in their slop to get ready for the Can Am.

Looks like both 10th scale and 8th scale will be running this month. 1/8 should be a handful on our little puddle.

Still missing a few guys but we're up to 18 racers. Not huge but git'n there. Think we'll crest 20 by Saturday night.

Harsh. True but harsh man. haha At least they have twice our boat count.

Some years are just off that way. One year there were 12 racers at the FE nats. Think it was Florida 2003 or 04. Guys were running everything they owned to make classes. MMEU just wasn't ready to host a nats back then. There was some controversy where two places wanted it or something. Maybe Florida and California. Something like that. Memory is sketchy on how it went to Florida. So there was some red a$$ over that.

That was also back in the Fine/Fuller/Rum Runner feuding days. Brushless motors had just become the norm. They were all fighting over market share. "Limited" was one class and that ran on brushed 700 motors. Ready to run was called "box art" and was truly crap. We were all doing the "hot cell of the day" dance. Everyone was broke due to new motors, esc's, cells, whatever, the economy, then some. Ugh. It was a dark time for FE.

Glad those days are gone. Group hug!
