Traxxas Spartan High Performance 6S Setup
Up for sale is a high performance Traxxas Spartan setup. It has the newer hull design that Traxxas released after the initial release. I have made many changes to get this boat tuned correctly. It has taken many hours of setup and testing, but the result is a fast, stable and true 50 MPH + Boat.
The best GPS speed I have recorded is 54.7 MPH.
The driveline is bullet proof and has had many runs with no problems and no overheating. Average ESC temps run 100-125F and Motor temps run 90-110F.
The hull, hardware and boat are in overall excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. There is some slight wear here and there but as you can see from the pictures its really in great shape. I take care of my RC things and this boat is no exception. I use Corrosion-X to add protection to the electronics and also for excellent care of the flex shaft to prevent rust. I pull and grease the flex shaft after every run and the flex shaft is stored in a ziplock bag after it is sprayed with Corrosion-X.
NOTE: The only blemish is the bottom port side (left side) of the hull where it meets the transom. The hull had separated slightly from transom but I was able to fully repair it using a special ABS glue that ensures the boat stays water tight. It doesn't affect the performance or looks in any way.
