Default D-19 Outlaw Racing June 6/7 Recap

    Brief recap :

    Big turnout - @220 boats ; 2 FE classes -

Saturday PLSH (nine entries - two flights)
    Sunday P-Mono (seven entries/one scratch)

    Busy pits :

    The usual FE suspects :

Making a Cameo Appearance, the Ex-Smock Racing MarinePower packs still kicking...

First Place PLSH : Jim Johnson

First Place P-Mono : Ray Presnell

First Place GX-1 Mono : That Ray guy again

If there was a "Heater Award" like at Winter Warmups, Mr. Presnell would have won hands down (He'll have to settle here in L.A.for the SCFE Donut give-away)

Ray's gas Mono in Open Oval holding off Henry Velasco's Big Block G5 Hydro for a few laps :

Not shown was Ray's Gas heat where he flamed out at the mill, got back to shore, fired up, ran a full mill lap + 6 after the start, LAPPED the entire field for a first. UmmaGumma

    Other district news :

Prior weekend the SCSTA race had Three FE classes qualified to ONE Thunderboat gas class. Now there's been accepted a P-Ltd Mono Class to be offered as well. Quite "electrifying" to say the least. I've said it before : D19 has the nicest racers there are and without reservation accepts FE as part of one big family.

    Final Thought :
