    Default Rudder Rounding?

    Good day all
Have read a few places where they talk about rounding your rudder - I know it is on the bottom of the the rudder, but don`t know exactly how/where? Is it just the leading edge on the bottom that must be rounded or is it the complete bottom flat side that must be oval/round?
Can someone please post a picture of this.

    Some brief discussion:https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...tom+shatpening

before page 9 there is a picture that showed how it is done but I think Travis hit something and the rudder is bent. But my drawing shows where it is not supposed to be rounded, the word 'rounding" is incorrect , IMO, it is just simple sharpening of the bottom, you do not change the PROFILE. You can make the bottom edge smooth (rounded) or a sharp wedge , Don't have time to up load mine, got to leave for work, sorry...

The pictures Ray R posted are far superior to what I have , so I am going to defer my promise to his expertise.

Thank you - much appreciated. Now it`s just off to order a M445 prop for the stock electronics and some fine tuning.

I was under the impression that keeping the bottom nice and flat/square helps keep the bow down in turns, especially if the LE of the rudder is a tad forward swept. No?
