    What kind of grease is best used for the ose upgrade strut system?

    Any marine type grease or thin oil like 3 in 1.

    Do you need to grease the wire or can u just use the grease fitting on the strut?

    Grease the whole cable except for the tip where it fits into the motor collet.

    so just can't use the fitting on the strut? Was wondering why they had a fitting if you still had to take it out and grease the whole cable.

    I know not of the strut you talk about but i guess it is for top up lube during the day.

    As said, you can pump grease in between runs, but at the end of the day, normal procedure takes over and you need to take out the cable and re grease.
    Too many boats, not enough time...
